How to Measure your Gates
Pedestrian Gate
Width of the gate = C = Width Between Pillars
Height of the gate = B = Hinge Stile Height from the Ground
Swing Gate
Width of the gate = A = Width Between Pillars
Height of the gates = B = Hinge Stile Height from the Ground
D = Pillar Height from the Ground to Underside of Coping Stone
Note: Pillar height D must be at least 100mm more than hinge style height B.
Sliding Gate
Width of the Gate = E = Width Between Pillars
Height of the Gate = F = Hinge Stile Height from the Ground
G = Pillar Height from Ground to Underside of Coping Stone
Note: Pillar height G must be at least 100mm more than hinge style height F.
