Yorkshire Gates were great. They took the time to understand our requirements, and did a detailed survey of our slightly complicated site before finalising the design. They were quick to respond to any questions we had, or changes we wanted to make. When it came to installation, the team were efficient, tidy and did a great job.

The team did a fantastic job! From initial contact, site survey, available options for our choice and final installation, everything was handled very professionally and with a very high level of care and commitment!
Showing up as promised and providing clear explanations on why and how the installation would proceed, made us feel that we were the priority - you cannot fault that approach.
A bonus was the removal and disposal of the very large and cumbersome original gate; no fuss or bother about that.
We would highly recommend Yorkshire Gates to anyone who is looking to install new or replace old access gates.

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish.

The gate we had installed was quite a tricky job, I think, I didn’t even know bi-folding gates existed before this. Craig came out just a few days after my initial phone call to measure everything up. He was brilliant throughout the whole process and clearly knew exactly what he was doing.

The quality of the gate is exceptional, and you can really see the attention to detail. The installation took a little while, but that was only because they wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect, good things take time.

Craig kept in touch with me the entire way through the project, keeping me updated on progress, what still needed doing, and giving me a timeframe pretty much every day.

I settled on Yorkshire Gates for my parents. Communication was clear and consistent throughout. Four quotes were sourced from different companies. I put alot of questions to the team before we went ahead. YG reassured us and the company just felt right. The gates are a work of art - and the guys installing have really taken their time. Installation was methodical and it didn't feel rushed at any point. Everyone was great with dad and I think he enjoyed having everyone round. The gates are expensive - but I guess you get what you pay for.

We had two gates installed. The company came and measured up to match the existing wrought iron work. They gave a price which was competative and so we awarded them the work. It was a 3 month design, build and install period. The gates arrived and were installed by the guys who were meticulous in their work - including keeping the site clean. They were brilliant. The gate construction and heights match perfectly. The whole effect is exactly what we wanted. We are most delighted with the job. I would highly recommend the company who obviously take great pride in what they do. The on-site installers and electricians were fantastic. Superb job. Complete waste of time. I contacted Yorkshire Gates  more than a week ago asking for a quote to replace my electric gate motor. I got a quick reply asking me to send some photos across so they could have a look and give me a quote, which was all very positive. I'm afraid that was the only thing positive about this company. Since then, despite repeated emails chasing this up and also calling them a couple of times to ask for an update (with being told each time that someone will get back to me soon), I have heard absolutely nothing and have now given up. Just wasted an entire week waiting for a quote. I didn't ask any other company as I was recommended Yorkshire Gates by a friend, so thought I will wait for them to get back to me. I have just waste my time with nothing happening and have had to now go to someone else. If a company can't even be bothered to get back to you with something as simple as a quote, you can imagine what will happen if you actually book them for some work. Excellent. Yorkshire Gates took our old and unreliable swing gates and converted them to a cantilever sliding gate which maintained the original look and gave us proper reliability. Work was carried out as it had been scheduled. The installation team were professional and left everything clean and tidy. Commissioning went smoothly without any issues. Great job all round.
